Get around your image

- [Instructor] Now that you know your way around the interface, let's take a quick look at how to get around an image by zooming and panning. There are lots of ways to zoom and pan. I'm going to show you just a few ways that I think you'll use most. When you first open an image, you'll see the whole thing in the document window. It's automatically zoomed to a percentage that fits in that window. You can always see the current zoom level at the bottom left of the document window. If you want a closer look at your image, you can zoom in. One way to zoom in is to select the Zoom Tool in the toolbar. Then go up to the Options bar and click the plus button if it's not already highlighted. Then go to the image and click as many times as you like. Each click zooms you into a preset zoom percentage, like 50%, 66.7%, 100%, or more. When you zoom in close, the entire image may not show in the document window, depending on how big the image is.
