- [Narrator] Sometimes the hardest part of being creative is being faced with a blank canvas, like the new document that we created in the last movie. One quick way to fill a new document is to use generative AI in Photoshop to create an entire image based on a text prompt. In this movie, I'll give you a taste of how to do that using the generate image feature in Photoshop, and we'll go into much more detail later in the chapter on generative AI. To use generate image, you must have an image open in Photoshop, either a new document or an existing image. If you're following along, I suggest you make a new document for this purpose with the same settings we used in the last movie, which were optimized for a portrait or vertical style Instagram image.
