Resize an image
- [Instructor] Now let's learn how to resize an entire image. Remember that changing the image size is different than cropping. If we were cropping this image with the Crop Tool, we would actually remove part of the image, say that surfboard over on the left, but that's not what we want to do in this movie. Now, we want to learn how to take the whole image with all of its content and make the whole thing smaller. I'll select a different tool just so we don't have to look at that crop boundary. And then, to make this image smaller, I'll go up to the image menu and I'll choose Image Size. Now, let's assume that we're resizing this image for use on screen rather than in print. When you're resizing for use on screen, whether that's to attach to an email or to put on a social media site, or even to use in presentation software on your computer, then resizing is pretty quick.
