- [Instructor] When you look at your scans using ReCap, you can see a clear plainer image of the scans using mirror balls and the 3D view feature. When working in AutoCAD, we can also view the data using this method. We can use the scan navigation in order to filter the points and see only the data that was captured by each individual scan. Let's take a look at scan navigation now and learn how we would use that as we work with the point clouds. So let's take a look at our point cloud. Now, you'll see that when we created this, this was clearly built from more that one scan, and the data's all combined in to create a single point cloud, but at times, when you're looking in here. Let's zoom into an area over here of this pipe for example. If we wanted to model in here, when we zoom in, we don't know is, are we picking points on the steel, are we picking points on the flange behind, are we picking points on the ground?
