Exercise files
- [Instructor] In regards to exercise files, I don't have an Elementor or WordPress file for you. We will be building out the website together in this course, but what I am providing to you is the following: inside the learning Elementor folder, you will find the following elements. There's a web copy folder. This contains both a PDF and a Word doc of the web copy for our project. This document contains all of the text and direction on which images you'll want to use throughout the web project. The text will be displayed in black, and my notes in regards to the image and the links are going to be displayed in gray. I've also separated all of the various sections per page so that you'll easily be able to find the copy that you need for whichever area of the webpage we're working on. The very last document of this page contains a code snippet for some custom CSS that we'll be using at the end of the course. I just wanted to let you know where all the relevant material resides. As I build out this site, I will be getting the text from this document. Even though I won't be showing you how I'm copy-pasting the text, know that this is where you can find the text. You can simply select the text, copy it, and then use it in your project. In addition to the web copy, I'll be providing you with a folder that contains all of the website media. This contains both the video and the images that we're going to be using throughout the site. For the most part, I've named all of the files with a prefix that aligns to the specific page in which the image will be used on. There are a few exceptions to this rule, but it should be pretty intuitive for you to figure out which image or which video I am using on each page. This information is also specified in the web copy document that I am providing to you. Finally, I'm providing a PDF file that contains all of the UX material that we'll be using throughout this course. The first page of this document contains the site map. This is an overview of all of the pages that we'll be creating in this project, and the names of those pages. Next, we have a style guide. This will give you direction on the colors and the text treatments for our website. I've specified the font families, the sizes, and the weights, and I have an example of our button treatment. The next five pages of this document contain the large screen comps for our project. This will be a great reference for you, as you're going through and building the website. I will not be building out every single thing with you. Since some of the sections are repetitive. I'll have you build those out on your own, but know that you can reference this document, figure out which page we're working on, and make sure that your design aligns with the comps that I'm providing here. After the desktop versions of the comps, I provided a page that contains all of the mobile views of our project. These all exist on the last page of this PDF. I hope you find these supporting materials helpful as we go through this course, and build out our terradium website together.
