Simplify tasks with folder automation
- [Instructor] Keeping files and folders organized can be a challenge. Dropbox has some neat features to help you categorize and rename files in an automated fashion. To begin, I'll create a folder called web assets right in my Dropbox folder, and then I'm going to right click and choose view on dropbox.com. Then under this organized menu here I'm going to choose add automation, and you can see I've got a bunch of options here for automation. I'm going to set a rule that renames the files for me, and what I want to do is I want to have Dropbox add the pixel dimensions at the end of every file name and to separate the words with hyphens, so I'm going to tell it just to put the results in the web assets folder where they are, apply to the current files that might already be in there, here's what it's going to look like, and as I scroll up here, I can select a rule, so I'm going to tell it to add the dimensions onto…
