Adding simple leaders (QLEADER) to an AutoCAD drawing
- Once again, we're in our annotation.dwg file, and you can see that I've zoomed out to the extent of the floor plan in the model tab. Now, in previous videos, we set up our annotative dimension style. Now with that dimension style, you set up a leader style for a command called Qleader or Quick Leader. Now, Quick Leader is a slightly older way of placing leaders in your AutoCAD drawings. You'll notice up here on the annotate tab, on the ribbon, you have leaders here. These are multi leaders, and we cover those in more depth in the AutoCAD Essential Training course. What we're going to cover in this course is just a quick simple leader setup using the dimension style that we've already got in place and that utilizes a command called Qleader. Now, Qleader is very simple and quick and easy to use. There is however, no icon for it. You have to type the command.
