Ansible core, community, and Navigator
There are a few ways of consuming command line interface, or CLI Ansible, and choosing which one can be a little confusing for newcomers. As of Ansible version 2.10, they split what packages you can pull into two: Ansible Community and Ansible Core. I'll just refer to them as Community and Core moving forward for simplicity. Community is what most admins should install if they want to directly run Ansible, and it's what I will be using for demos during this course. It contains the Ansible binaries, along with a slew of some of the most commonly used components, all packaged up and ready to go. This is the easiest way to get started. Core is a stripped-down version that really only contains the essential components for Ansible to function. This means that to automate against most hosts, additional components will need to be installed.
