How are requirements different for business analysis and AI?
- Let's dig into some of the changes to the requirements and analysis work happening with AI. First, more user and customer focus. The end to end user experience becomes the focus, not a single system component or system interaction. A more holistic and conceptual view of the work and context of the user experience. For example, you may focus on developing a detailed list of possible user scenarios and paths, and with data and business rules associated with them, and not need to specify the screen designs, buttons, exact data fields, and technical aspects. And you may lead the focus on decreasing customer touchpoints overall for a larger user goal scope, rather than how to improve a single touchpoint when interacting with a system. Next, we have more active collaboration. You will need an increased focus on real and deep conversations with stakeholders, vendors, and development teams, conversations that discuss concepts, options, alternatives, experiments, and the user scenarios…
