- [Instructor] It is not uncommon to find yourself masking images as you work along in XD. Experience Design has a number of really slick methods when it comes to masking objects. So let's take a look. And to get yourself started, open the Mask.xd file in your chapter download, the most common method is to use an object as a mask. So just select the ellipse tool and draw a circle, and don't worry about the fill and the stroke. So we're going to switch over to the selection tool, select both objects, and we're going to come up here to the object menu. And we're going to say, mask with shape. And you can see that the keyboard command is crtl + shift + M for PC, or cmd + shift + M for Mac. Select it, and boom, you got an instant mask. Now these things are not carved in stone. If I double click the image, I can move it around inside the mask. And if I click away and just select the circle, okay, so if I click on the circle…
