- [Instructor] These days many of us rely heavily on texting through the Messages app on our iPhones or iPads to keep in communication with our friends, families, and colleagues. It can become increasingly difficult to keep track of all of your separate conversations, especially if you have a lot of group chats where you're messaging more than one person. A feature of Messages that can make it a lot easier to keep track of your conversations is the ability to reply to specific messages in a thread. We've probably all been in chat situations like this one where multiple topics of conversation are being discussed. For example, here, Clark is asked if Nick and I are free for lunch tomorrow. We both said that we are, but Nick said he has to be back for a meeting and Clark asked what we should eat, but Nick also asked if Clark is going to be in that same meeting.
