- [Instructor] Let's get started by setting up our BigQuery environment and creating a new Google Cloud Platform account. Using this newly created project, we will enable the BigQuery Sandbox. This is a totally free service created by Google Cloud to help people like us trial out BigQuery without paying any costs. We'll be following the official BigQuery Sandbox Setup Guide. I've tried my best to make this easy to follow, but please note that these steps might change over time when Google makes any updates. Before we start, this is important if you already have an existing GCP account with an active billing account setup. You can still follow along with all the technical content. However, please note that you'll be using BigQuery in its Free tier usage as opposed to the free BigQuery Sandbox trial service.
