(digital tone chimes) - [Samvit] Hello and welcome. In this demonstration, I'm going to show you how you can create a compute instance. So let's get started. As you can see, I'm inside the OCI console So I'll click on the navigation menu on the left and click on Compute. Under Compute, I'll click on Instances. I will ensure that I am in the correct Compartment, which is OCI-Demo in my case. So I'll click on Create instance. The very first thing that I need to do is to give it a meaningful name. In my case, I'll give it demoinstance. Again, I need to select in which compartment do I need to create the instance. The next option is with respect to Placement. Placement basically means here you need to select the availability domain in which you want to place the instance. So as you can see here, I am in the US West Phoenix region. So this region has got three availability domains and that's the reason why I'm able to see these three. So I can select any of the availability domains. Click…
