Create reports with the default semantic model
- We have now set up a Lakehouse loaded with data, and we use the SQL endpoint to view the data. Just like a warehouse, the Lakehouse comes with a default semantic model. In this model, all the tables in the Lakehouse are available to do some more sophisticated reporting. And like with the default semantic model on a warehouse, you can add relationships and measures to this model. So that's what we're going to see in this video. We'll look into the default semantic model and create some visuals in a report based on that model. To access the default semantic model, we need to navigate to the workspace. And with our Lakehouse, there comes our semantic model. So if I click that, Lakehouse_FabricIntro2 default semantic model, you will get the opening screen of the semantic model with on the right all the tables that we already know from our Lakehouse and from the SQL endpoint. You can see what columns are in each table, and you can have a nice preview of the data in our semantic model…
