- [Instructor] In this video, I will show you how to upload sample data for analysis, for search, for reporting or visualization. It is the same process when you are working with the real-life data. Go to Settings, click on Add Data. Here, you have guides to onboard popular data from the sources. You get cloud computing data into Splunk platform from any of these 10 data sources. You have to configure each of the data sources before you can input data from them. You can get your networking data into Splunk platform from any of these two data sources, Cisco Adaptive Security, Palo Alto Networks. You also have to configure each of these data sources for you to collect data from them. Get your operating system data into Splunk platform from just one source, Windows event log. You have to configure this also to work with it. And finally, on this data source, you can get your security data into Splunk platform from any of those three data sources.
