- [Instructor] Computer vision is the AI that is built using images and video. Can you imagine what brings images to a car, or for that matter, on the road, in the city or even at your home? Yes, you guessed correctly. It is a camera. It could be a camera monitoring the road in an autonomous vehicle, a traffic camera watching to catch traffic violators, or a security camera for your home or office. Can you imagine where a camera is moving and watching you? It could be in a robotic drone. And my favorite is in an autonomous vehicle. Autonomous vehicles have several cameras all around them to watch the roads for other cars and passengers. A simple application of cameras watching the road is common in cars today. Cameras watch the car and ensure the car stays within the lane. Do you think there is a design for the user experience in a lane-assist feature?
