- [Narrator] As work has evolved and some organizations have moved to remote working or distributed working across space and time zones, we need to discuss the differences between live and remote decision making. When I talk about live decision making, I'm referring to making decisions while being physically present with the team or the individuals involved in the process. This involves face-to-face communication, realtime feedback, and the ability to read body language and nonverbal cues. On the other hand, remote or distributed decision making is the process of making decisions when team members are not physically present in the same location. It involves using technology such as video conferencing, instant messaging, and email.
