- [Instructor] Better analysis takes time, as does mastering the various qualitative and quantitative techniques that exist, which is probably a whole course unto itself. I can't stress enough that we as analysts should be the conscience of decision making in our organizations, because we do so, or should do so, completely objectively. As a result, it's up to us to speak up when we need to, to save ourselves from well, ourselves. You'll likely never master all the techniques as well. I'd be lying if I didn't acknowledge how much I still have to learn, but get comfortable and competent enough to be able to wield them, to help build and support your arguments, and sell a better way to our decision makers. Though we all know the power of striving to be better, the reality is few companies are able to commit to that objective, but those that do, and find a way to do it well, benefit from the fruits of that labor.
