Working with freeform gradients

- All right now, we get to the real fun in the form of free form gradients, which are independent points and lines of colors that blend in with each other. And so, for example, notice if I click this guy's face with a black arrow tool in order to select it, and then I press the G key to switch over to the gradient tool that his face is just riddled with these colorful points and lines, which we will be creating over the course of the next few movies. All right. So we'll go ahead and switch over to the documented progress and I'll press the V key to switch back to the black arrow tool. And I'm going to go ahead and click on this goatee path and shift click on the hair as well as the face. And then I'm going to change the color of their strokes by clicking on the second color swatch on the far left side of the control panel, and I'll change it to hair 1. A line wade of two points is just fine, but I'll click on the word stroke.…
