Exporting your emoji to use with a device
- [Instructor] All right now let's say you want to take your custom emoji and you want to use it as an actual emoji on your smartphone or other device. Well, in that case, you want to export your illustration as a PNG file and then adjust it and create a few size variations inside Photoshop. So assuming you're working with the most recent version of Illustrator CC, go up to the File menu, choose Export, and then choose Export For Screens. Now, by default, that should set you to the Art Boards tab, which is what you want, but we don't actually want to export the entire art board because then we'd end up with too much extra space. And so for our specific purposes here, you want to set this select option to full document. Then go ahead and click on this little folder icon in order to specify the folder into which you want to export your images. And in my case, I've created this PNG test sub folder inside the 22 gradients…
