- [Instructor] Groups are something in Illustrator it would be very, very difficult to work without. They are an excellent organizational tool and they are used all the time to collect things together. This is the mascot of my band, The Darned, Franklin J. Skellywobble. And he's, to be honest, he's not very happy. He's in bits here, but let's have a look at the layers in which he's on. In fact, I'm actually going to drag out the Layers panel this time just to go and make it a bit wider and also a lot deeper so we can examine the contents. And I'll also pan across here so you can see everything. So these are already groups. They're made of lots of piles just here. Each one of these things is a group like so. You can see that.
