Using draw modes

- [Instructor] There are three separate drawing modes in Illustrator, Draw Normal being the first one. And that kind of suggests what it is, it's the normal way that people draw in Illustrator. If you watched the last movie, I got an ellipse and drew an ellipse over the bottom of a mug, like so. And hopefully you joined in with that. And it got drawn on top of the mug, and then we used a range to send it backwards. Well, the drawing modes, which can be toggled using the shortcut Shift + D, live down here in the toolbox. These are the three drawing modes here. Okay, Draw Normal is available right now. Draw Behind is available right now. Draw Inside requires something else to be happening, and we'll see that in a second. So I'm going to hold down Shift and tap D on my keyboard to switch to Draw Behind mode. And this time, when I draw my ellipse, okay, like so, you can see it's being drawn at the bottom of the stacking…
