Validate your skills with Professional Certificates
- Professional certificates are structured learning paths developed in partnership with organizations, such as Microsoft, Toastmasters International and others. They contain expert led courses with chapter assessments and summative exams to help you build and validate skills that can showcase what the shareable credential on your LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn has developed over 100 English professional certificates with 44 partners and has something for everyone. We also have professional certificates for other languages as well. Let's take a look at where to find them. To find professional certificates from the homepage, you're going to navigate over to certifications in the left navigation bar. At the very top of this page, you'll see professional certificates and you'll see all the partners that we have worked with to build professional certificates like Microsoft, ServiceNow and others. If I want to see all professional certificates that we offer, I click on Show All. This brings me to a filtered browse page, where you can see all the partners listed at the top, or I can simply scroll down if I want to just take a look at what we have to offer. I'm going to go ahead and click on Adobe as an example, and now I see all the professional certificates offered by Adobe. If I click on one, you'll see this looks a lot like the learning path in the movie that we went over previously. It has the title at the top, how many hours it's going to take for me to complete, how many content items are included, the level and when it was last updated. It also has a key new piece of information that it was developed in partnership with Adobe. Scrolling through, you'll see all the content in the learning path, the instructors, and another key piece of information is earning your professional certificate. Now, after you've completed all the content and the learning path and the final exam, you have earned a professional certificate. Now I'd like to show you what one of those looks like. I am now going to show you an example of what a professional certificate of completion looks like. Now in this case, I have completed the professional certificate for Career Essentials in Generative AI that was created in partnership with Microsoft. At the top, you'll see it is co-branded with LinkedIn Learning and Microsoft, which is a really valuable way to showcase your skills. You'll see that the certificate of completion also includes the top skills that you learned. In this case, computer ethics, artificial intelligence, and generative AI. Now, in a previous video, I showed you how you can share Certificate of Completions to your LinkedIn profile and with your network, and you'll definitely want to do that with professional certificates.
