Personalize your learning with AI-powered coaching

- Imagine having a learning coach who's available 24/7, knows who you are, and what you need to achieve your goals. Sounds to be good to be true, right? What if I told you this is all available on LinkedIn Learning right now? We know from our data that learners who engage with AI-powered coaching spent 25% more time learning. Let me show you how to use AI powered coaching on LinkedIn Learning as your personal learning assistant. You can access AI-powered coaching by simply going to the left navigation bar and clicking on AI coaching. You will see this pulls up a screen and there's some really interesting information at the top. This is going to be completely personalized to who I am as a learner and what it knows about me, and your information may be slightly different here depending on what kind of account you have. You'll see at the top it brings in my current role, my career goal because I set one earlier, and also the skills that I follow because I've also selected some skills in previous onboarding exercises. Now, if I want to change any of these or I didn't set these earlier, you can simply do that by clicking on any of the pencil icons to the right. So now that I'm on the coaching page, you can do a variety of things. You can search for courses, you can ask it a question, or you can even just click on the prompts that we have right here if this information interests you. I'm going to select, what is the best course to learn Python? Because Python is something that interests me. It is going to look at all the data and knows about me and my learning history, and it is going to suggest some really interesting content below. Now, everyone's responses here are going to be different, again, because it is personalized based on my data and my learning history. Now, I'll see, based on my query, it's presented a few really interesting courses. Now I'm interested in learning Python for non-programmers, so I'm going to click on this, but if I wanted to continue having a conversation, I could write an additional response below. But for the sake of this example, I'm going to click on Python for non-programmers. So I just clicked on the Python course for non-programmers, and now I'm on the course page. You'll notice something really interesting on the right. I now have AI-powered coaching on the right panel, and this is the same coach, and this is going to be my learning assistant as I'm watching this course. Now, as I continue through the course, whether I'm watching it or even just click around, you'll see that the prompts in the panel are going to change. Now, I can always click on key takeaways for this video, and it's going to summarize key learning. And I personally find this really helpful because not only do I like to watch the video, but I also like to read the summary. What are the key points from this video? And I personally find that very helpful. But I can also ask it a question. Give me a real world example, I can ask another question to go deeper in the content, you can type whatever makes sense for you in the bottom. Now, you'll note that just like the main coach, it is going to personalize this response based on what it knows about me and based on also what's happening in the video that I'm watching. Now, let's just say you don't want to see that right panel and you don't want to interact with coach on the course page. That's okay. You can click on the X in the top right to hide the panel at any time. So go ahead and try AI-powered coaching and see where your learning journey takes you.
