- [Laura] So you've learned about what reporting options are open to you, how to find an auditor, what approaches you can take, and a high level of the requirements for PCI 4.0. What next? If you're watching this course, it's reasonable to assume that you or your organization have some sort of impact from or relationship with PCI compliance. Perhaps you've already done PCI 3.2. Perhaps this is a new project for you. If you can't remember when you have to make the move from the old version to 4.0, the answer is before March 31st, 2024. You could, in theory, complete your last PCI 3.2 audit on March the 30th, 2024, but it's still really important to plan ahead on what will need to change in your technology or processes to meet the new standards.
