Making a query

- [Instructor] We've looked now at the default screens that ADO offers to view and manage your work items, but sometimes you need to slice and dice the data differently, and this is where the Queries section comes in, which is what we'll look at now. One thing that's not obvious, by the way, is that you can use some of the other screens, such as work items, to create a query. You see, we have this option, open selected items in queries, and that can be very powerful, because you can do things from the query screen that you can't do from lots of other screens. For example, you can export your stories to CSV and you can then reimport them, having made certain changes. So if you need to change a hundred or a thousand stories in one go, this can be a complete lifesaver. So the queries is a quite central feature of Azure DevOps. Many paths lead through and to it.
