Changing planes for sketch
- [Instructor] I'm going to go ahead and show you a cool little trick on how you can move a sketch from one reference to another reference. Let's go ahead and create a simple box. Go to Create, select Box, and we'll just make one right here. We'll just make a perfect square, so 100 by 100 by 100, so that's great. Now let's go ahead and create a sketch, and we'll make it on this surface here, and we'll do something pretty simple. We'll just do a circle, and we'll lock that to the center. And we'll do that 50, and then let's create a offset from that. So we'll go five, and then let's just make a rectangle that comes out of that. And we'll do that, 40 by 40. There's no real rhyme or reason to what I just made, but just so you have some nice reference geometry. And let's hit Finish Sketch. And now when I come back here, I realized that I made this on the wrong surface, and I want to move it. Or maybe there's another…
