Storing reality capture data

In this particular video, we're going to take a little look at how we think about storing our reality capture data once we've got it to a point where we've converted it. Now, we've talked about, obviously, Autodesk ReCap Photo and Epic Games RealityCapture. We've got that drone data in there. It's slowly converting at the moment, say on our local CAD machine that we might use. But then we need to start thinking about how we store it. And it's really important that you think about this before you even capture that drone data. You need to have a good storage facility ready to go to store these large amounts of data. I can't stress this enough because even just the drone data is large. We've already talked about that previously, but as you start to convert the drone data to reality capture data, it gets bigger and you've got big models to think about. You've got to think about file access speeds and so on. So let's talk about local, if you store your reality capture data locally. So…
