Adding new information to the CAD model

We're staying in our CADmodel.dwg file with the StBarts1.rcp point cloud attached to it. Now, as you can see, we're in a semi-isometric view there at the moment so that we can see the side of St. Bart's Church. Now, it may be that you want to add additional information to your AutoCAD drawing on top of the point cloud. Perhaps you might want a plan view. Now, in order to do that, you're going to have to add some existing geometry, because you can't really, obviously, work with the point cloud. It's not entirely accurate, but what you're doing here is you're utilizing this data to then obviously generate, say, a flat 2D drawing, a plan view of the church. So how do we do that? Well, we've got some layers in the drawing. Make sure you're using the objects layer at this point rather than something like the viewports which won't plot. So we've got the layer setup, and what we need to do is go over to the ViewCube and just hover over the top view there. Can you see that? Just partially see…
