Provide effective feedback in learning
In learning design and instructional design, it's really important to know the role of feedback and more importantly, how to implement feedback to give to others and how to receive feedback so you can implement it yourself. So the role of feedback is to help make these learning experiences collaborative. Iterative. Moving the needle in the right direction and making sure that the first attempts at learning aren't the last attempts at learning, because there's nothing worse than trying something once and then failing and then having the book closed on you forever. That's almost never how things happen in real life. We often get chances to iterate and improve and build upon those things. So that's what feedback is for, is to give people the opportunity to be better than they were before. And in such a way that it's safe and structured and controlled and not punitive or humiliating in any way.
