Before we start our configuration, we're going to actually go into the InfluxDB platform. If you haven't already, sign up for an InfluxDB Cloud account. InfluxDB Cloud is free to sign up and doesn't require any credit card to do so. To create an account, go to cloud2.influxdata.com/signup. I'm going to actually create a brand new account. I'm going to click create account. You can also sign up via the cloud marketplaces. I was just able to verify my account via my email address. I'm going to select a cloud provider and region.
