- [Narrator] When working with Excel formulas, sometimes debugging can be quite tricky. I suggest having the exercise file open for this movie to follow along with me and start by unprotecting the worksheet. Okay, say that we're being quizzed on how the total of $56,320 has been derived. One way to answer this question might be to click on cell C11 and then review the formula. In fact, if we click in the formula bar here, Excel will actually show us what's feeding this cell. Now, please note that this will only work if the linked cells are on the same sheet. That's why the Assumptions!C6 aspect of this formula isn't visible here. So the only parts that are being highlighted are the cells that are linked from the same worksheet, being the summary worksheet.
