- [Instructor] This is Excel data. To transform it as a table, make sure your data is selected, then go into the insert tab, click on table right here, and you are going to have this popup that will appear. Make sure you check my table has headers if this is the case, and then press okay. As you can see, your data is now transformed as a table. And now what can you do with this? Well, when you add a column, let's say we have the cost column. As you can see, all of my data is, like stuck together. I love to say that. If you position yourself on the last cell of your table and you press Tab, as you can see, I have a formula in column B and the formula will just follow by itself. I press Tab a few times and all of my data is stuck together. It is really useful. The cool thing with tables is that if you have a pivot table that is related to this table, so the pivot table that has a source linked to this table, you don't need to change your pivot table source.
