Combine data with combo charts in Excel
- [Narrator] You can combine different types of charts in Excel. In this example where we have the sales evolution, let's create a column chart. First, I will select my data. Then I'll head over to the Insert tab, click on column chart right here, and let's select the first one. As you can see here, I have a chart, but that's not quite what I want. In the blue bars, I have my sales in dollars and in the orange bar, which is nonexistent, in this case, we have our sales increase percentage. I would like to see both on the same chart, so let's fix that. Make sure you select your chart, and then head over in the chart design tab at the top. Click on change chart type, and then you will need to click on the combo chart type. Click here, and as you can see, you have a preview of your chart at the top. At the bottom you have your series, and we will want to check this box right here, the secondary axis for the sales increase percentage. Make sure this is set as a line and put any other type…
