- [Instructor] Analyzing your data works way better when you have visuals to convey your message properly. When you select your data and then go to the insert tab, you can click on pivot chart. Excel will ask you to select your range or table, which we already did, the table one, and then you need to choose where you want your pivot chart to be placed. In our case, we will take a new worksheet. We can press on okay, and as you can see, we have two rectangles that just appeared, and these two rectangles are linked together and they are also linked to our data. Let's work with this. To the right, you have the pivot tables field. We will put our employee IDs in the row simply by clicking on the employee IDs and drag it down in the row field. As you can see, we have these data to the left that just appeared in our pivot table and in our pivot chart. And now let's say we want the expenses of this employee.
