- [Instructor] For a quick way to provide access to a webpage or another file, you can add a link to one of your cells or to other elements in your workbook. Start by selecting the object in your workbook. This could be a picture, a cell, or an element in a chart, for example. Then in the Insert ribbon, click the Link button. On the left side of the Insert hyperlink window choose the type of link you want to create. You can link to an existing file or webpage to a location in the current document, you can create a new document and link to it from here, or you can create a link to an email address that will open the user's email client when clicked. So for example, to link to a webpage select Existing file or webpage, then type in or paste the address of the website into the address field. Note that this must be the complete address including the http or https colon slash slash at the beginning of the URL. Click OK.…
