- [Instructor] In this dataset, we have a list of US states and territories. We've got Pennsylvania, U.S. Virgin Islands, the state of Washington, Washington, D.C. We've got Puerto Rico, American Samoa and we want to know how many of these places has Elsie been? Now, the question is how do you define been to? In this case, we say Elsie has been to a place if she's lived in it, visited it, or driven through it. This legend says what the activities are in column C. T means Elsie rode a train through it. So let's look at the data. Arkansas, she has only ridden a train through it. She's not visited it, lived in it, or driven through it so that we are not going to count as been to but Arizona, because she has visited Arizona, yes, that counts.
