- [Instructor] Whilst Excel for the web is a feature rich and powerful product, by now you might be wondering, whether or not you can do even more. Well, did you know that every Excel file created using Excel for the web, can also be used in the desktop version? This means that whilst Excel for the web doesn't have all the features that the desktop version has. Excel desktop can actually be used to enhance your Excel for the web experience. I'll show you how, just make sure that you have the exercise file, Excel desktop charts open to follow along with me. The employment type summary chart that you're looking at here, is kind of cool. But what if we wanted to change the layout, or design? You'll notice that in Excel for the web, that there isn't an option to do this.
