Write everything down
- The big rule of personal efficiency is write everything down. Don't try to keep it in your head. If you look at anyone successful, you'll see that they have a little pad with them or a way to put stuff into their phone or tablet. They don't clutter their head with small tasks and half finished stuff. It's impossible to be creative when you've got half finished items in your head so everything gets written down somewhere. If it's a big thing, and I don't know exactly when I'm going to do it, then it goes into my Master List. If it's just a small thing I need to do today, then it goes onto my Jobs-To-Do list. If it's time dependent, he's away till Wednesday so I'll phone him on Thursday, then it goes into my calendar, or diary as I call it. And supporting information goes into Evernote in case I need to access it. There are three reasons why you need to write everything down.
