- [Voiceover] I'm gonna preface everything I'm about to show you by saying I expect art to be well-crafted, and in the context of vector painting, authenticity is of paramount importance. If it doesn't look authentic it's not gonna kind of capture that illusion of traditional, which is kind of the look and feel we're going for. I also expect digital tools to be precise when I use them, and when they're not they can be really highly annoying. You saw that illustration I created and showed earlier in the course, where, it reflects that creative process of being in focus and when I'm in that mode creating, the last thing I wanna deal with is problematic software, or shortcomings of software that hang me up creatively speaking, pulling me out of focus, and then I have to focus on figuring out why I'm not getting the look and feel I want.
