- [Instructor] Understanding the context of a user interaction is critical when trying to design a digital experience, whether that is a mobile application, e-commerce website, or a VR game. In this lesson, you're going to learn what event tracking is in the context of web analytics and how to you use it to your advantage when designing a user experience. Simply put, events are user interactions on your digital property other than page loads or screen views. File downloads, link clicks, form submissions, and video plays are all examples of events. Earlier in my career, I was leading an agency analytics team for a U.S. client who also had presence in the Canadian market.
