- Now I want to show you a potential problem and you probably ran into this in the earlier part of this course when you're working in source tape mode and you have a lot of footage, and sometimes those individual tapes could be very, very small, very short. If you have some short clips mixed in with some really long clips, and it's tough to dig down the speed editor a great solution for that. So what I'm going to do is come up into our bins and I'm going to shift and click on interviews. So now we've got some really long clips in here and then some really, really short ones that are kind of difficult to dig down to. Let's see how this works here with the speed editor. What I'm going to do is go into scroll mode. And I'm going through here looking for shots that I want to drop into a timeline and I'm starting on a brand new timeline and this is just a kind of a scratch timeline.
