- [Instructor] Imagine, if you will, that you have three apples in front of you. Now, I'm guessing that you can picture them perfectly. Their size, shape, color, and even the way light reflects off the sheen of their skin. Now imagine you have 30 apples in front of you. It shouldn't be too hard to see each one individually in your mind's eye. But what if there were 300 apples in front of you? Is every single detail as clear to you as it was before? And what if that jumped to 3,000 apples or 30,000 or 300,000? No matter how hard you try, your brain can only stretch so far and the human brain's capacity to imagine the sheer volume of large numbers will top out very quickly.
