Challenge: Road sign and chess player

- Okay, are you ready for another challenge? Because I have two more that will test your skills. Let's get to it. Challenge one, inpainting. We're going to use DALL-E to recreate some classic American signage. Here's the brief. Create a vintage Route 66 sign set in the middle of nowhere, and we're going to use inpainting to correct any of the text errors we might find. So for this challenge, I'm actually literally going to give you the prompt, "A 1950s retro sign for blank in the middle of the open desert in the style of a photograph," and in the blank, feel free to use any of these words: gas, fuel, cash, bank, et cetera. And I selected these words because they're short, they're iconic, and each of them conveys some sort of visual imagery. All right, so here's an example of what I'm looking for. And feel free to use my exact prompt because that's what I used to generate this image. However, make sure you select an image where the text isn't 100% correct and requires some sort of change because you're not going to learn anything if you select one where DALL-E nails it out of the gate. Now for the next challenge, we're going to test our abilities with photorealism, and this one, I'm not going to be so generous. All right, so here's the brief. I'm looking for a photo of a serious chess player. The photo should be visually dramatic and almost cinematic in mood. Now this example on the right, I made with DALL-E with no inpainting. So think of this as your target or your goal, and I'm actually going to reveal the exact prompt I used to create this image in the next video. So let's see how close you get by using the learnings that we've discussed thus far. Good luck, and again, don't be afraid to experiment as you work on each challenge, and we'll see how well you've done in the next video.
