Challenge: Reorganizing text
(upbeat music) (upbeat music ends) - We're up to exercise number four called: Chapter 4 - Inverted Pyramid. In the exercise file, you'll find a piece of text that follows a relatively traditional format, describing events in the order in which they happened. I'd like you to reorganize the information so it follows the inverted pyramid style with a summary of the most important information appearing first, and then subsequent paragraphs giving progressively more detail. My suggestion is to first read through the article and then work out what the key points are, find a way of summarizing those, and then work from that summary to decide which points to expand on and in which order. You may decide that you need to rewrite some sentences, but for this exercise, I'm more concerned about the order of the information than I am about the absolute words that you use. Take 5 to 10 minutes now to rearrange the article contents into the inverted pyramid format, and then we can compare notes.
