- [Instructor] Okay, so now it's time for us to get some data into Illustrator and actually draw a chart. So let's go ahead and do that. If we tap J on our keyboard, then that will get us the Column Graph tool. In fact, if you long press on that in the toolbox, you'll get a bit of a sneak preview about what's coming up in this chapter. But let's choose the Column Graph tool. And I've got some guides here for us to work to. So I'm going to start at the top left here, click and drag across to the bottom right, bearing in mind what I said in the previous chapter about the chart area being the part that is drawn when you do that. And you can see now that the access on the left hand side is outside of that region. So another window has opened for us, this is called the Graph Data window, and it is populated at the moment with a single value.
