Setting a YouTube video for a premiere

- Setting a video for premiere is useful if you want to schedule a video for a future release. This is actually great because you could promote it in advance. You'll see this all the time with movie trailers or fake live events, where it's pseudo live. This'll give you a countdown and a link that you can drop into a newsletter or post a social media or embed on a website. So, for example, maybe I want to set this to premier on August 1st at noon. I could set the time zone and set it to be a premiere. If I don't use the premiere, the video is just unlisted and publishes on this date. If I choose the premier option, then I get more control. Here, I can choose a style for the premiere, and this is just a theme for what it will look like, the embedded artwork. You also can decide how much of a countdown is there before the video starts. This will give a countdown so that people who log in early know exactly when the video's going to begin. I'll click Save. Now, everything is queued up…
