- Once you've built your playlist, there are some great options that will give you total control over it. We mentioned these earlier, but I want to show you how they actually take action. Find a playlist that you'd like to modify in your channel or create a new one. Then click the details button. This will let you go in and easily modify the key choices here, and you'll find a default order. I'm going to switch this to most popular and click save, so it updates. Now I can click videos to look at the tab and I see that it's sorting it by views. Well, this is working quite nicely here because it's allowing me to put the content in an order that's most popular. I like this most popular option as it helps someone who's new to the channel discover the content and will likely show them things that are going to be most appealing.
