Challenge: Setting up a data table and using Copilot
(lively upbeat music) - [Instructor] In this challenge, you're going to be tasked with taking raw data in a standard range and turning it into a data table, then formatting it and performing some basic analysis on the data using Copilot. Let's open the file named Red30_Tech_US_sales_by_region. In this file, you'll see three worksheets: US Sales by Region, US Employee Info, and US Sales Regions. When you examine the worksheets, you'll note that it's in raw form and poorly formatted. It looks like it's just an extraction of data from a backend system or ERP. The column widths don't allow us to see the full contents of the cells. The formatting of the values is incorrect, as you can see with the price, discount and order totals. And it would take us a bit of time to get any insights. This is sometimes what we deal with in FP&A, right?
