- I've already discussed digital workflows in this course and I showed you some examples like digitizing the RFI process. The task permits that I discussed in the last video are another great example of a process that is begging to be digitized, hot work permits, excavation permits, any of them, all of them. How great would it be if I didn't have to make the trek all the way down the building and across the job site to the construction office just to get a hot work permit form to fill out? And then how much time would it save if I didn't have to run around getting several signatures and the final approval from the superintendent? Digitize this. Figure out how to make your software application do this. Even if you have to get a little creative, it's worth it. With so many different software applications out there and those applications continuously evolving and changing, I can't really say pick this one and do this but…
